A regatta near my home on Vancouver Island. I was inspired by the silent beauty of the sailboats out on the ocean horizon. I loved the lines of the water contasting with the lines in the many sailboats.
Original 36" x 12" $1100
Giclée on Canvas 36" x 12" $418
A scene from a portion of the West Coast Trail (on the west coast of Vancouver Island), showing the lush coastal forest and the ocean lapping at the rocky shore. I used acrylic to bring out the boldness of the water and sky. The acrylic better suited this painting because it allowed me to paint much larger.
Original 30" x 20" $1300
Giclée on Canvas 28" x 18" $375
A local scene from the east coast of Vancouver Island. I used acrylic to bring out the boldness of the water and sky. I loved the many blues I used in this picture. The acrylic better suited this painting because it allowed me to paint much larger.
Original 31" x 26" $1300
Giclée on Canvas 28" x 18" $525
One of many groupings of markers found on coastal trails in British Columbia. Hikers find these floats along the beaches, engrave their name and the year, and leave the markers hanging along the trail.
Original 25" x 20" $1125
Giclée on Canvas 24" x 18" $450
On Bates Beach, just outside of Courtenay, on the east coast of Vancouver Island. This scene shows rocky shore, calm sea, gulls, and coastal mountains in the distance. The two gulls reminded me of a couple meeting over a coffee first thing in the morning to review the plans for the day.
Original 28" x 22" $1625
Giclée on Canvas 28" x 22" $515
From Bates Beach, near Courtenay, BC, on eastern Vancouver Island. I loved the whole backdrop for the little sailboat, the beautiful snow-capped mountains, and the silky smooth ocean water on which the boat silently glided.
Original 30" x 24" $1700
Giclée on Canvas 30" x 24" $515
Rocks and tidal pools on a sandy beach, calm ocean, snow-capped coastal mountains, and a child who played for hours, just filling the buckets and pouring them out. It was really the child's colourful outfit that caught my attention. This scene was on a beautiful beach in Parksville, BC.
Original 30" x 24" $1700
Giclée on Canvas 30" x 24" $515
A sailboat floating on the glassy, calm sea. A vision of peace and stillness.

Giclée on Canvas 36" x 24" $625
These flowers were given to me for an art opening and they stole the show. The yellow and orange colours were so incredibly vibrant and bold.
Original 20" x 24" $925
